In general, conversions are tough and rather expensive. You gotta find something that looks decent for starters. That in and of itself is tough because there isn't much IMO that WOULD look good. Once you find a decent tail, you gotta hack apart the back of your Sol to get the lamps to fit. Then, fill in and sculpt with body filler/ bondo. Then paint it all. It is a big process to undertake, and is best left to guys who work in a body shop for a living.

Here are a few tail conversions I found on TS....

IS300/Toyota Altezza

Porsche Boxter

Nissan Skyline R33

Toyota MR2

doing a tail conversion can be both hard and expensive. be really sure you want to change it, i know people who have spent tons on changing their tails just to miss their old ones in a month. try playing around with the stocks maybe see if you can change them to something you might like. dont get altezzas, just dont. good thinking there.

That's good advice there...just make sure you check out all of your options before doing something as drastic as a rear end light swap. Check out this thread I made when I was indecisive about what I wanted to do in terms of my tails...

I have since decided on doing the 50/50 half clears.

Now if you still feel that you'd like to do a tail swap, then more power to ya! It's your car, do to it what you think looks good!

for all those tails: no, no, no, and no. Your tails look great. If you can do it, make 50/50 red clears. That'll look so great!

Ok so I was thinking about doing either a S2000 tails those IS 300 looked preatty good as well or maybe some Skyline.

As much as I like Suprs I think that, that conversion is way to played out. But good look on yours man.

But anyway anymore advice will be good and does anyone have those half red half white ones for sale or know how to do it???

Anyway let me know thanks
