Does it do this with both horn buttons on your steering wheel?

I would check the wire connections on the horn itself and see if they are comming off or something like that.

its an 01 isnt it still under warenty? take it to the dealer or just get a really loud exhaust, thats how i compensate for a lack of a horn

BTW: your sig kills me, i was laughing so hard for a few minutes than i stared at it for like a minute and a half, and im sober

quick check to see if the horn is getting the proper power without disassembling everything... unplug the horn harness from the front of the car and stick a small test light in line to take place of the horn. have someone press on the horn and see if the bulb lights up.

i'd try to test everything before taking your air bag out. that's the only way i know of to test the contacts.

u shouldn't have to. the horn is located below the radiator support and u should be able to stick your hand inside to unplug the horn harness. if not, a front bumper is alot easier to work on than an air bag.

thanks, i will try to remove the bumper and attach a new horn. if the problem persists, then i can assume the problem in behind my steering wheel, right? if so, would i be ****ed?
