Definition: A Constant Velocity Joint is one that provides consistent drive shaft speeds regardless of the operating angle of the joint. CV joints are used primarily in on the drive shafts of front-wheel drive vehicles, and they come in two basic varieties: the Rzeppa ball type joints (which you'll find on the outer end of the drive shaft) and tripod joints (which are used on the inner end).

Also how many miles do you have on that car and are the cv boots torn?
if its not the cv joint its prolly just that u need to get used to the clutch cuz when i first got my civic i didnt drive it so well and it clicked all the time but now it doesnt click at all. just give it time, it isnt hurting anything.
