65 Oxygen Sensor Heater (Secondary) Malfunctioning or defective oxygen sensor heater

What is the oxygen sensor heater? I know my 2nd o2 sensor is broke im just wondering is that why im throwing a 65, or if that is for a differnt reason then just that my o2 sensor is broke.

On a seperate note. When i go to replace my o2 sensor do i get one for a 01 Integra GSR since i have a gsr swap or do i just get one for an 00 civic. Or are they all the same? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

if the O2 is broken, yes that's why. 4 wire O2's are heated! So, it could be something as simple as a hacked heater wire.

You can get either one. They should be indenticle, and if not, they work interchangably.

 

So ill be getting my o2 sensor soon then its off to try to pass emissions. Hopefully my 00 ex ecu will work. Thanks for the info.

 

If the engien is an 01 b18c1, use that ecu. It shoudl run way better=cleaner.

 

I cant use it. The 01 gsr ecu has the immobilizer on it.
