Default B16 vs B18

I have a EG hatch. It currently has a D15B8 in it with around 270k miles on it. Obviously it needs a new engine/tranny/the works. From your experience, what would be a better swap for my EG, a b16a or a b18b? I know that the b16a has more horsies, but i wanna get some feedback from ppl who have actually done the swap and seen the performance between the two. If i go with the b16a i will be purchasing the Apexi V-AFC along with it. I want to do the complete swap, and hopefully turbo either of them down the road. Budget isn't too much of an issue, but i'd like to keep the total swap under $5G. Thanks.

Get the b18b, it is a better block to work with. Also it can be easily bored to a 2.0l unlike the b16.

do a search bro. I've stated the pros/cons about this swap in the past. Is it worth it?? In one word>>NO!! Lots of money/effort/time go into this swap. You can get a Haspot mounting kit but there are many MANY HIDDEN COSTS!!!

You can get a B18C (SiR-G, GS-R) swap on a $5k budget.
