b series tranny in a d series engine?

b series tranny in a d series engine?
hey... noob question...
is it possible to do a tranny swap from an auto d series tranny to a b series tranny? or would you need the whole engine for the swap?

With a custom fabricated bellhousing, yes.

that blows.....
my friend got me thinking that i could do that, he said that he could do it for $800
i need a tranny swap bad tho... the auto is killin me

Sorry you had to find out that way dude! For bolton swaps, D series to D series. B series to B series. F, H, etc...
