noob ?
Well about a year ago I bought me a 96 civic ex four door but its an auto, which really sucks. So I put a short ram and a header on it to see how I liked it, which i did even though the car is still slow as hell. So now I'm looking at my other options like tranny swap, engine swap, or maybe turbo. So the first thing I looked for was a trans. swap but the only place that will do it wants $4500 and I don't think I could do it on my own. So Itwould be pointless to swap to a b series or turbo with a auto. Iwas just wondering if anyone has any advice or have ben in this situation before. Selling the car is not an option because im financing it. Thanks in advance.

Dont worry man. I have an auto 96 Civic ex too (2dr). I am seriously considering boost after the winter. There are a few boosted autos in here a bunch of'em at www.turbod16.com
I am just going to work w/ my auto for now. If it goes, I'll just install a new torque converter. Get a set or Red/clears and DIY your headlamps and your civic will be on it's way to a nice cleanly modded car.
:wiggle: welcome to HAN!

That shit pisses me off. :madfawk: to that shop trying to take advantage of people like that. They probably just didn't want to deal with all the work involved with that, so they quoted rediculously high instead of saying "no".
