Default Silver Star Bulbs

I am looking into getting a pair of new bulbs for the SI. I know for sure I want the "white" bulbs. Tirod recomended to me that I go with Silver Star bulbs, I was wondering what everyone else uses? I want them to be bright as fawk without being blue. Thanks for your help and input.

Same hear, that's why I was wondering. Do you know anyone that has them and did you see a major difference in clarity and brightness? There $40.00 for a pair and I want to make sure they're what I am looking for is all. Thanks for the reply.

I've seen threads on it with pictures. I remembe seeing one shining against a garage door to show the brightness. I don't have any personal experience with them myself though. You should search this forum for them.

I have silverstars in my car, and when driving down the freeway, and a car is next to you and they have stock bulbs, you can see the whiteness in them. I love them, they are a good white, and they are bright enough

With Silverstars, some people love them, some were disappointed. Of course there are expectations of HID with these bulbs. Don't get your hopes up high with these. I just see it as headlights bulbs that aren't blue and aren't yellowish either. Although they are on the pricey side, I think they're better than standard halogens and they've lasted me quite a while...

I did hear that there is a difference in light output between the 9003 and the H4's. I'm not positive about this, but I think that somone else here can confirm it.

Since I got the SI I don't know what bulbs the previous owner is running. That is what I am looking for.

Thanks for the pic, Skyler. Do people flash there brights at you at all even though you don't have them on? Just curious. With my birthday coming up Jamie wanted to know some suggestions for gifts. Its on 10/29/03 if you want to buy me something as well.

i used to use sylvania coolblues but i found them to be bad when it rains or snows. then i switched over to the xtravisions, a little better in rainy weather. about 2 months ago i switched over to silverstars and i loved them. the brightness is noticeable as compared to previous bulbs. i can tell they light up the road better even in rainy weather.
