imports arent the same as domestics. why do people keep comparing apples to oranges?? its like saying "my f350 can tow alot more than your hatchback"

not raggin on domestics at all... but my friend with a 400whp dsm does all the time... and hands them their asses at the strip

Low 9 sec domestic is respectable no doubt....

But judging by your first post...I didn't think you wanted a "discussion"....sorry for the confusion....

Just cause we don't own domestics, doesn't mean were any less of a 'car guy'......for lack of a better term....

ITFD,
Is this all really necessary? Is it that fun to join an import web site and start a thread that pretty much calls everyone here a ricer? I don't see the point. Even if a lot of guys here can fall into that category, there are still a lot that are pretty cool and actually know a little about their cars. Some also have impressive rides of their own. Most people here already know that making a truly fast import will take more time and money than a comparable domestic... but most people don't take it to that extreme, and if they do, they are doing it because they WANT TO make a fast import. You may not understand or agree with their reasons for buying/modifying imports, and vice-versa. So what. I don't often see guys with civics coming to LS1.com and talking shit about our mullets or bad gas mileage, etc., so why do you feel it necessary to come here and do the same thing? You can act like you came here to 'debate'... but you came here to talk shit. Be civil or leave.
