and so i'm a moron, i have no clue. what does the EX stand for. different engine type? are all civic's 4 cylinder. do tell

All civics=4 cylinder...not all the same engine though (sohc/dohc)...don't know all those fancy codes...Ex = extras "luxury features" (that's what the dealers say anyways) as far as I'm concerned (power locks, windows, moonroof etc.) And you're not a moron you're a newbie, welcome.

which one? Ex (2000 at least) = 1.6L

Civics are pretty weak in all models though...if you're planning on buying one...buy it for the commuter qualities or buy it to modify

The ex is the top of the line model for the USDM models, except for the si in certain years. They have vtec engines, power everything, moonroof. More is also painted on them like door handles, mirrors, moldings, depending on what year you get.

you guys r lucky here in canada we don't get the sunroof on the fodo or rear disk brakes cause i know one model came with disc brakes i think????

an ex is definitly worth the money......but SI's are much better. 40 more horsies, spoiler, painted side skirts....... etc

My 92 ex sedan came with a moonroof and rear disk brakes.
