Default Break Pedal squeek

:eh:

When I release the break pedal.. a small squeek or chirp can be heard from somewhere seemingly under the car.

Any clues? It's more annoying then anything. My breaks seem to work fine.

Does this always happen when you release the brake pedal?

So how long does it squeek until it goes away? Does your car feel like something is dragging it and making slower?

Nope... it doesn't happen until right as I take my foot off the break pedal. Nothing seems to be effected from what I can tell. It squeeks for a split second.. nothing more.

Hmm maybe it's just the part the brake pedal is connected to the pushrod or something. I guess try using some grease or wd-40 and put it around there. This is a wild guess but I have a good feeling it might be it.
