Default Deciding Between Two Exhausts

either the A'PEXi N1 exhaust:

or

Tanabe Super Medalion Racing Spec

Which one sounds better on a 2000 Civic EX? I don't have any way to compare the two sounds. That's why I'm posting so I can hear from people who have experienced the two. I'm also wondering hp gains and how it feels on the car. Anything one exhaust can offer the other can't? Things of that sort. Thanks.

I would assume they sound similar.

Don't expect too high gains.

I know for a fact that the tanabe is louder. Not that the Apexi N1 is quiet or anything. My old Apexi N1 was pretty loud. I think the HP advantage is like only 1hp over the apexi. My friend got the Tanabe Racing Medallion because he liked the straight pipe design versus the angled apexi n1.

the tanabe will have better power since its pipe is literally straight back, i have a g medalion and it is sooooooooo quiet, sounds really good too. I bought my tanabe for 180 bucks used in perfect condition beats buying a stock exhaust for 300 , because my stock one was rotted through also beats buying a new one for 500. Check out ebay they usually will have used tanabes on there anywhere from 200-300 . thats were i got mine i just waited a while to get the cheapest one

The new n1's are also practically straight back. I would pick neither because they both sounds raspy on an na civic.

:dunno: i don't really like the canister style... I also don't like farting rattling exhausts... The more stock-like the better IMO.. I like the apex WS (discontinued for my car ) and the rs-r exmag street...

probably not very helpful since you and I obviously have different taste h:
