thanx yous guys..

If your thinking of doing a little SCCA stuff, I would consider GC coilovers rather than a set spring. Said i was running neuspeeds right now. Doing a whole new suspension this winter. GC customs with a 450 rate front and 500 rate rear. Koni yellow with a re-valve if money is not a problem. You can get new springs rates at anytime for $50 bucks a pop. To me thats not bad. Just an idea.

I think that they're pretty much the same. But I did notice that the H&R's tend to be a little lower as compared to Neuspeed's springs.

Yes, i thought of the same thing. But with skunk2, they are set rates( 6kg-334lb/ 8kg-448lb/ 10kg-559lb/ all the way up to 18kg-1000lb). The GC are at a rate of 50lb per spring. (300-350-400-450-500-etc.) Better fine tuning for your weight of the car and power produced.

Well I never looked at it that way..makes sense...
I also knew that there was an 18kg/mm rate but chose not to even mention it cause it would be absurb to use that kinda spring rate on any honda.

I liked the Skunk2 for the only fact of the duel locking ring on the coilover. Then i called GC and they explained how there adjustment ring works. Sold me there and more choise of spring rate. Like i said, just an idea.

could you just use gc custom springs without the coilover sleeves or would that just suck?

well the skunk2s you can get in different heights(and I think the GCs as well), so in theory you could just select the height (of the spring)...
But you would have to work out what the compressed height would be and probably make a custom seat for the bottom of the spring to stabize it.
