your thermostate isnt opening up or the sensor is bad.

First thing I would do is check to make sure the sensor is plugged in. Look for a little plug located on the fan. Check it, make sure it's not dirty too.

well... i've never thought about the fan part.. but i do notice one thing though... when i turn on my AC.... my car is hella slow. and when i am at a signal light... and once it turn green and i try to floor it... it lag a bit and then you can hear the CAI really sucking in air all of the sudden with a little thump sound from the muffler... so how do i fix that? or is that normal?

All civics suck with the A/C on. that is why mine no longer exists. i do have the pretty controls in there for heater use though I would definately check the thermostat and the fan swith. chek the relay and fuse as well because more than likely that's the culprate.

actually all _Cars_ will suffer with the A/C on -- that condensor taps right into the belts, so your engine works harder to drive that compressor.

does the car FULLY overheat, or just get hotter??? because if it just gets a little hotter that is normal.. i think if it were any of these things it would happen ALL the time
