Default b16a2/b18c5

Is it true that the b16a2 head and the b18c5 head are the same except for internals?? Could I take valves, springs, cams, etc. from the type-r and put them into my b16a2 head?? what difference in horsepower would that make. I'm thinking about boost but not sure yet. I'm installing forged pistons and rods,I'm having the b16a2 head port-n-polished now and my friend told me to put type-r parts back into it. suggestions???

yes b18c5 head is the same as b16 head with a minor p&p. you can replace the cams and springs, retainers are the same. difference in hp would depend on tuning.

how about the valves?? type-r valves different from the ones in the b16a2?? if using type-r cams would I be setting the timing to b16a2 or b18c5 specs?? you say tuning......who could take my p30 ecu and tune it for these mods??
