Are there shorter rear lower control arms for 1996-2000 Civics?
I have a 1997 Civic EX with 17x7 wheels with a +37 mm offset and 205/40-17 tires. The rear driver-side tire rubs. The reason the rear passenger-side tire does not rub is because there is an extra half of an inch of gap due to the Uneven Drop Syndrome. Anyway, instead of buying new 17x7 wheels with a +42 mm offset to fix the problem, can I buy shorter LCAs? I read many good things about the SRR LCAs. Are they the same length as the stock ones? If so, does anybody make shorter LCAs for 1996-2000 Civics?

cobbcustomz, the tire is not rubbing against the LCA. It is rubbing against the fender. So, I thought that if I could buy an aftermarket LCA that was five mm shorter than the stock LCA, then that would be same as having wheels with an extra five mm of offset (in my case, +42 mm, instead of +37 mm). :dunno:

it will still stick out just like how your wheels do in stock height.
