is the 98 civic ex tranny better than a 97 dx? i just scored a 98 ex tranny .

i would immagine the EX has shorter gears but im not a SOHC guy so i cant help

so it is a good swap? i have a hatch that i am in the process of swapping a v-tec head on. just trying to find what extra wires i need to hook up now

EX would be better especially if you're going with a VTEC head because the gearing is specific to having VTEC.
