Default D16Z6 Help!

No one answered in engine tech so..

Just when I thought I knew everything about civics.....Well, as some of you know I sold my CRX and bought a white 92' VX hatch. I got an excellent deal on a brand new D16Z6 block ($390.00 ) and I plan on mating that with the head off of my original D16Z6 out of my 93' Coupe. Well I set the block on the stand next to the old block I have and I notice that if you are looking at the back of the block you have that long thick black cooling pipe that comes off the thermostat housing and runs to other end of the block to the water pump. Well on my old D16Z6 there is a little fitting where a hose that comes off the throttle body connects too. This fitting is located right before where that long black pipe connects on the water pump side. On the new D16Z6 I have that fitting is not there. Other than that, the blocks are identical. Can someone help please.

If it's just the one going to the TB, don't use it.l It's for your cold idle valve. Eliminating it can make it idle goofy until the car warms up on COLD days, and will keep the TB cooler the rest of the time. Cooler air=more power...

Idle goofy? Like how bad. It never really gets cold here so... But I thought all D16Z6's were identical?

See where the pink dot is? On my old D16Z6 there is a little fitting that sticks out.
