Default need wiring help

ok guys...i got my vtec head and eveything that i need. i also got a computer from a 98 civic ex and the plug for it with about 6" of wires. what wires do i need to hook-up in my car? and the color codes would be nice.

wow, way to go not researching things!

Do some dearching for the pinouts, and it'll tell you what pins and the color of wires you need.

I would think your stock harness would work and you don't need any of those wires on the ECU you got.

You just need to run VTEC and VTEC oil pressure to the ECU... I would think.

Try www.hybridgarage.com but I don't know that they have anything out there for that ECU.

Listen to this guy...you wont be disappointed :thumbup:

If your not converting OBD then all you would need and are missing are the VTEC wires.

that still don't tell me anything. what about knock sensor? i heard there were 4 or 5 wires to hook up.

knock sensor is on the block.. not the head. If you're swapping out the head, you still won't have a knock sensor. h:

You hear wrong.

Do a search for EX head in this forum. Find someone that's done it and email/PM them.

Where do I come up with this stuff? :thinking:
