I mean obviously you can charm a girl's panties off while buying her drinks too, but it's by no means a prerequisite and a good portion of the time you just spend your money on free drinks for some chick you'll never see again. At least that's what I see the idiot guys around here do. Personally I don't have a shitload of money so I'm not going to spend it on some chick at a bar when there are other ways to get her naked.
When looked at from that perspective, good point. Good thing I never just went up to random chics and blew my money like that.
