ATTS uses hydraulic pressure to send torque to the wheel with the least mechanical torque. It would be almost impossible to install ATTS on the base Prelude, since there is different suspension geometry, alignment, and drive shafts. The electronic sensors activate a pump to engage the ATTS. ATTS is not a limited slip diff, posi trac, or traction control. It's a unique design to Honda to use fluid pressure rather than mechanical discs or electronic engine speed control. I tested an SH when I bought my car, and honestly could not feel a difference worth the $3,000 sticker difference.
