Yes, ATTS is different from a mechanical LSD. ATTS (Active Torque Transfer System) electronically senses wheel spin and transfers power to the wheel with traction. I think that's right anyway, if not, don't crucify me. The LSD on the other hand, sits in place of a stock open differential and mechanically locks/unlocks. If you want an easy way out, see what the price is to buy a JDM H22A transmission w/ a Honda mechanical LSD installed, besides, labor will be cheaper (if you pay to have it done) to swap transmissions instead of take one apart. Yeah, also the wiring I'd imagine would be a pain in the keester.
