The key to a good anti-theft system (At least to prevent vehicle loss) is to make the thief as nervous as possible. That's why while I only have a mediocre alarm (Some old alpine unit... 8027 or something like that), I have a starter kill and a fuel pump kill in seperate remote locations. The starter kill is also a novel solution in which the switch is intergrated with part of my dash electronics.

Unless they have a towtruck, I believe that it will take at least 3, probably 5 minutes to disable all of my car's security, and that's if you actually know where everything is

If they want my car, I want to make it as frustrating as possible... cause if they steal my headunit and sub... oh well... but if they get off with my car... That's a bit more difficult to replace.
