Maybe you should look at those early 90's Chevy Caprice Wagons, they are pretty "huge"...AND DOMESTIC!

Nothing says "aggressive" like applesauce suspension and 75 series tires.

My mom drives a Bonneville. She's 60 years old. While the 3800 motor isn't horrible, the thing handles like a sloth compared to my accord...even when my accord was bone stock.

Seriously though...On the topic here (if there is one)...

The Accord coupes were built to for 2 people and more in a pinch.

The TL and Accord sedans were built for 4 and five in a pinch.

So of course they are going to maximize the space in the coupe up front. But really...you can't say that the TL feels cramped. I have a feeling that if you put the seat all the way back you'd have a hard time reaching the pedals and steering wheel comfortably. I've never had a problem and I'm 6'1", not real tall, but not short either.
Alright Schmiddy, if you are going to get so literal with everything everybody says, how can anything get accomplished here man? When my co-worker called it a sports coupe, come on, man, he just meant "for a two door coupe".....I was quoting him verbatim, dude...Im sure he knew the car wasnt a balls-to-the-wall sports coupe; he just said something with regard to the fact that my vehicle had two doors; I am sure he didnt mean "sports" in the literal sense...come on, man.

And listen, your mom isnt the only person driving a Bonneville out there on the planet----I see TONS and TONS of people my age driving the new SSEi's with the full leather packages, blacked out windows and chrome wheel upgrades; I see young people driving the 300M around here, too, so what is the point of saying that? What year is her Bonneville? If she's in the SSEi, I am having a hard time believing that a bone stock Accord out-handled that car....a very hard time...

And yes, the topic was the fact that I was making an OBSERVATION about my co-worker's TL and my Accord and the interior room differences; and my whole point was yes, it seems that that's what Honda has done with the two door Accord---maximize space up front for the two passengers because, in all fairness, a coupe is an indulgence for you and your anointed passenger----its an indulgence vehicle. But I am telling you, and even THE OWNER OF THE TL SWEARS BY THIS AND SAID IT TOO, that while not really "cramped," the front passenger position in the TL feels more "enveloped" ---- when sitting in the TL's passenger position, I looked at the dash and felt that it didn't seem as "sweeping" or "open" as a feeling my Accord gave from the same seat; thats all I was saying. I wasnt bashing one car or the other.
