Yes - because the seals are older, the synth oil leaks a lot for poeple that switch after 70K or so miles
i switched at like 90k to syn on the f22b1 and it did not burn oil. i also use syn in my 93 JDM H22 which has ???? miles on it, it esn't burn much if any at all. remember H22s are notoriuos oil burners, avg is 1qt every 3K.
