Default Re: Some advice on replacing my wheels?

I was just reading another post, where everybody said not to change wheel size and tires without changing suspension first, and I definitely see your point - but, I feel like replacing plastic hubcaps is big priority here.

I'm looking forward to hearing what you think.
If you are keeping a stock look with OEM alloys, then you don't really have to lower the car. It's when people put 18's on a car with stock suspension and you have more wheel gap than tire sidewall...that's when it looks messed up.

I have an LX as well. First thing I did was pick up some 15" Honda alloys used for $100 to replace my stock LX steelies and plastic wheel covers.

They are now my winter wheels.

If you eventually want larger wheels like 18s or 19s, then I'd just get some cheap used OEM Accord alloys, perhaps in 15" so you can use your current tires. That way, more money going towards saving up for larger wheels. Then you have a backup/winter set with decent looking alloys. If you go that route...the 98-02 V6 5lug alloys will work as well, you might find some cheaper ones in thoses styles. They look good as well.
