Thanks, I was just looking for some confirmation on those M3 mirrors...they can't possibly make any thing look good.

I have seen, on rare occasion, mis-matched (color) 2000 mirror assemblies on Ebay. They're the folding type put on after 98. I'm thinking they'll fit no problem, agree? Although they're practical for the tight one-way streets here, I'm still partial to the original 98 mirrors...they're tight into the body and give the car a crisp/clean look. The newer mirrors appear too "bulky" and don't flow well with the coupe's lines.

time to seach the junkyards
