i noticed many of you guys use castrol syntec, i was wondering why you chose it?

did you know that mobil 1 sued castrol cause castrol syntec does not meet mobils standard of a full syn oil. the lost, but that's cause their is no chemical definition for what constitues a full syn oil. real syn like redline is made from a gas which mobil 1 still uses in it's formula. castrol on along with others uses a different method which is super refinning dino oil. mobil does do this too, but not 100%. so your really not getting a true syn with some oils which is what your paying for with the redline and amsoil oils. for example valvine max life is highly refined it is just one notch below the category syntec falls into. given the fact castrol syntec is about the same price as mobil 1, your getting jacked.

there used to be a guy on this board before it crashed that knew all kinds of stuff about oil.

sidenote, in no way am i saying castrol syntec is a bad oil. i think your just not getting your moneys worth.
