Could it be................... you hand Accidently hit the AT shifter and put it to Neutral while you tried hard to press on the gas pedal and it wouldn't move and reved so hard. Since you turn the car off and it can't be turn back on because ithe tranny is not at "Park". ??????? :chuckles:

Either that or you break the engine stand and the belt.
