he should be dead today, he was hurt very badly. right after the assasination attempt, PR people were saying he was doing good, etc, when actually he was on the brink of death. They needed america to remain calm, and fortunately he pulled through.

teddy roosevelt took office in 1900, but wasn't elected (i was wrong about that), so forget about that one
anyways, the fact that reagan didn't die, or didn't remain dead if you want to by picky about it, solidly refutes the "curse" idea. also, president McKinley died in office, but wasn't elected in a '0' year. he was elected in 1896
