S03s are like glue in the rain!
Compared to other, lesser tires. They suck compared to the Dunlop SP9000 and Goodyear F1 GS-D3. That is a
non-biased review from a person who has owned all three.
From EVO magazine, testing a Focus ST170 with 8 max performance tires:
"The Bridgestone (which placed 7th) fell flat on its face in both timed and subjective wet handling categeories. The Bridgestone provoked an instant response from both drivers in the wet, Harrison criticising it for "a general lack of grip" while Meaden simply said "nasty, with major power understeer and severe lift-off oversteer." The car looked visibly unsettled from the outside, too."
The Dunlop won wet handling subjective and timed. The Goodyear GS-D3:
"(In the wet)progressive, predictable, with exploitable oversteer" and "good grip, very predictable".
The S-03 sucks in the rain for its price. It's SPECTACULAR in the dry, but those are facts and quantified opinions.
