Why would you waste 13,000 on a base, base, base model accord??? you probably could have gotten something like :
'93 RX-7 twin turbo
or a '94 300ZX twin turbo...

now you gotta spend mad cash to get the same options my '96 accord lx coupe has... I only paid $6,000 for mine  (first car, I'd have a 93 300zx TT if i could pay the insurance)
That's interesting . . . just out of curiosity, what options did your 7-year-old LX come with that I might now need to get? Did you pay $6,000 for it new in '96, or now? (I drove through my local dealer yesterday, and their sticker price for a DX is now $18,500 - now, THAT is insane)

By the way, I'm in a different place from most of you . . . I did drive an RX-7 for a long time before I got married - it was a great, great car that I really loved, and I was really into it . . . but now I have two kids, and something like that just wouldn't fit in my life. The Accord is a perfect compromise for me between a sports car and a minivan (yes, my other car is a minivan, I have to admit. An Accord feels like driving a sports car compared to a minivan.)

And, I think most of us who have posted on this thread probably DO like the 7th gen Accord, or we wouldn't have bought one!
