Default Q's about Supercharging

Hi, I have a few questions about supercharing. I am thinking about purchasing the JacksonRacing supercharger for my 98 Prelude, but I was hoping I could get some quick information from you guys before I make any harsh decisions which cost a lot hehe. The supercharger costs anywhere from $2,500 to $3,000 depending on where its purchased, or so I've heard. I wanted to know, does anyone out there who has a JRSC know if is it manditory to rebuild the internals of the engine in order to provide good power and not blow up your engine? I've read reviews on www.carreviews.com under the performance parts and most people have said that they are running their cars with no moded internals and have no problems. I just want to make sure. Another question, which gauges would be the best to purchase and mount on the interior of the car? I know a Boost gauge is a necessity, but others have recommended oil gauges, temp gauges, etc. Another question is, do superchargers need blow off valves or intercoolers? I have heard that some do need intercoolers, but others claim they are not needed, Just want to clear that up also hehe. Finally, my last question does not really relate to the JRSC, but does anyone know if Oil Cooler systems are any good? Jacksonracing also has one of these and I was wondering how efficient they are at cooling the oil and making the car run cooler/easier. thank you for reading my post, hope to hear from anyone with insight into these topics. Again, Thanks! -Matt
