i used to have engine noise too, but it turns out it was my electronic crossover "amplifying" the whining/buzzing/annoying sounds.

make a new ground from your battery to the frame, as well as valve cover and see if that helps.

You're powering the ps somehow, so check whatever's powering it as well...
