6th generation (98-02) Accords shared the same chassis with the Acura CL, TL, CL Type S, and TL Type S. Therefore some suspension components were interchangeable, such as sway bars, strut bars, and springs (not for I4 Accords since the front end was much lighter).
The J30A1 was the engine in the 6th gen Accord V6, while the J32A1 was in the TL/CL, and the J32A2 was in the TL-S/CL-S. If you browse the v6performance.net boards, you will find that a lot of AV6 owners feel that their Auto trannies suck (there was no manual tranny available). It is also possible to swap in a 6-spd tranny and/or the J32A2 from a CL-S/TL-S into an AV6.
If the next generation of the CL/TL uses the new 7th gen Accord chassis, then would stuff like what I said above be possible?
