The Mustang Cobra (and most domestic muscle cars for that matter) are just tuned for 0-60 numbers and 1/4 mile times. Doing everything in the first 15 seconds of life, and then leaving an empty taste in your mouth. A car like the S2000 takes more skill to get the most out of it, because it is a driving car. Designed to take through the twisties and keep the engine at 6000 rpm all day. Try running a Cobra at 6 grand all day and you'll have holes in the block where the connecting rods broke through. I guess it's a matter of preference. Do you like the muscle and grunt of gobs of low end torque to dissapear after you hit 80, or do you like to play with the engine and get more out of the car? I personally like to have a little more fun with a car than just light up the tires. There's a stretch of roads in the Cuyahoga Valley that are perfect for that, and I've taken a few people through there with my car, and some muscle cars. There's just no comparison. Detroit muscle gets nervous and tires squeal when you try to row the gears though tight curves. Lack of ballance and a high center of gravity.
