You should see the crazy complicated cast GM was doing before it moved to injection molded composite intakes.

The block is the J-Series. You have the J30A2 engine. 98-2002 Accord V6's had J30A1 engines. The engine is related to the 3.2 in the CL/CL-S and TL/TL-S which is the J32A1/J32A2. There was never a 3.0 V6 in any Acura model.

One other thing, the tranny is a 6 speed open tranny. I know honda puts a 6speed on the S2000, CL-s, TSX, RSX and NSX. How many different housing does honda have for their trannies? do all the 6-speeds share the same housing with different internals(LSD vs open, and gear ratios)? That would make sense (with an exception on the S2000 ofcoarse)
Well, let's see. The Accord and CL-S trannies are very similiar, as are the RSX and TSX. The S2000 and NSX obviously can't have much in common. So I'd say 4 different housings. Honda is crazily meticulate when it comes to their transmissions. They throw a lot of money at R&D. No Honda has an LSD except for the Integra and Civic Type-R.
