I completely agree. Even though I have a 4 cylinder which are historically noisy & buzzy, I can't hear it until it gets to 6000 RPM. And i never know what RPM I'm driving at. My previous car was a MR2 turbo which is somewhat noisy stock (at one point I also had a 3" straight pipe), but you could close your eyes and knowing what gear you are in you knew the engine speed and vehicle speed.

I don't know the Accord well yet, but I'm sure there is sound deadening material somewhere in the interior that could be removed.......just don't know if it's easy to get to.
