So I do not know how many of you guys have driven one recently but the motor and tranny is on liquid filled mounts which mount to a subframe on isolation mounts. So if it is screaming at 6k you would think it is idling minus the massive Gs and torque steer you are feeling. I learned to drive stick by engine feel and sound, I hate looking at the tach every time I want to step on it. My previous car was a 92 Z28 race preped car with no sound proofing and 3" exhuast on an aggresive cam motor, I swear I am now driving an electric car. I would hate to mess with such a piece of great engineering but I think the resonator on the intake and first y-pipe muffler has to go. Only probibly is it is oval exhuast tubbing makes a quick chop and weld not really a possibility. Ok i am done venting, let me know if any of you guys feel the same way and if you fixed the "problem".
