A boosted LS is probably "easier" to tune. However, if you're basing a modification by that criteria, I suggest you find a competent tuner and then go from there.

This last statement is going to bring a whole slew of flames...but for most applications, a GSR is a better platform to start with IMO. Note the "IMO". This is not fact, it is an opinion.
