I respect your bluntness. I got the exhaust done for $200, cans and all. To me this was a better deal than a catback for $500-650. In all my years of draging it does what an exhaust is built for. To evacuate the cylinder completely. Does not matter how it looks. Like i said, "HAD" the pacesetter then went to this. 100% better for my use.
why is "exhaust shop special" dual exhaust for $200 better than "exhaust shop special" single exhaust for $150...

and lets compare my N-1 just for the hell of it (not being an asshole)
A'PEX exhaust systems are among the best in the automotive aftermarket industry. Since the company's founding 9 years ago, A'PEX has helped revolutionize the industry with innovative concepts that focus on both form and function. By using feedback data from our racecars, A'PEX exhaust systems are engineered to perform. A'PEX engineers concentrate on performance and sound characteristics, not just aesthetics and tubing diameters. From raw materials to the finished product, each component is manufactured in-house to meet the highest standards. Every vehicle application is extensively researched and tested before final designs are approved for production.

In the N-1 Endurance Race, efficiency is everything. With that in mind, the N-1 exhaust systems were born to satisfy the want for quick throttle response and to effectively handle the rigorous demands of high-horsepower engines. The pipes were engineered with the aid of sophisticated CAD systems to develop the straightest possible lines and least number of bends. The straight-through canister projects from the car at an angle, which helps smooth the exhaust flow. The canister is built from SUS 304 stainless steel and features a 115mm tip with aggressive style. The Super Silencer is included on selected models, which can reduce noise levels by up to 7 decibels. The N-1 Series Mufflers are available for both NA (naturally aspirated) and turbo-charged cars

granted this is propaganda from the apex'i website..but i think its reasonable to assume more R&D goes into an apex piece than something banged out at an muffler shop... and i have had it for over two years, live basicly in the ocean, and the system shows ZERO signs of rust associated with lots of lower end exhaust systems.. i paid 380 for it back when i got it

im just saying id rather pay a lot once and KNOW its something quality.. VS something im not sure of...
