jschmid, I am not sure if this is what your trying to say, but

When parking
1. Apply foot brake.
2. Put car in neutral (from drive)
3. Apply hand brake
4. Remove foot from foot brake
Car should roll forward or backward depending on grade
5. Apply foot brake
6. Put car into Park.

This helps reduce the clunk when you start the care next time and go from Park to D4. I think I learned this from this board a long time ago when I went by another name. Can't remember that name right now either... LOL
