To wash the engine I covered the air intake, alternator and other misc. electrical connections. I used a hose (very low pressure) and a sponge. I did not use any degreasers - just lots of elbow grease.
The headlight washers are OEM Honda Accord for a 2002 German spec coupe... that car is virtually identical to the US 6gen coupe. Pic below:
