That sucks that happened dude, that happened to me in my old mustang that shit sucked. The wheel almost fell off but managed to stay on so I just got it worked on. Your lucky you weren't doing 70 on the freeway a lot could have happened then and it wouldn't have been good at all... At least you tried to do the work yourself, you learn from your experiences.
