YOU ARE WRONG. Congress and terrorists put us in more national debt, Bush had nothing to do with it. Pork barrel spending is not Bush's fault. Perhaps you would rather see less national debt and more terrorist attacks? Noone can argue that we have prevented many attacks because of the inflated homeland security budget. You think those middle eastern assholes are sitting around being "patient"? Nope. They are trying their hardest to plot shit in this country, but it is damned hard because we spend so much money towards stopping them.
Clinton lowered the national debt because he was one lucky SOB...he was president during a booming economy (a direct result of nothing that he accomplished). I blame the current recession on Clinton most of all, because he did nothing to keep the ecnonomy going for years to come and to reform business practices that might threaten it (a la Enron).
Besides, the national debt is just a number...it has no influence on anything. We owe most of it to our own citizens.
