My perspective is that you all just got a civic for your first car, or bought one because it was cheap, then, found out about the huge aftermarket for it. And instead of looking for other cars that might perform better, you jsut modify your current car, which is fine.
this is exactly why i got my car. it was a gift from my grandparents and we went with this car because it got great gas milage (i was in high school and had to drive 20 miles to get to school). i didn't get it for performance. but now that i have it, i want to make it a better performer. and i don't have the means to get a new car.
