I got this spoiler free, just had to pay to get it painted and I had them use the GOOD paint... Anyway they put some black shi* on the head of the screws after they had spioler on. At first the black stuff was like rubber but now its hard... So I shouldnt have to worry about anything there, so long as it never falls off I dont care how it is now I guess...
As for if I ever need a new trunk lid, I will just get it from Junk Yard, or do somthing else, plus if it was ever TOO bad, I would tell insurance it got messed up and have them pay for new trunk lid with OEM spoiler... 
You could've just gotten the spoiler when you bought the car so it'd be financed with it.
