SIR-DC2 - if you dont know what your talking about, atleast put a little disclaimer like 'IMO' or 'i think'. because if you dont, then people who are still learning will take what you say too seriously and they might start to believe it as fact. im not saying that everything you said was wrong, but some of it was. we're comparing SOHC to DOHC here. it sounds more like you're comparing D-series to B-series. there are a lot of reasons a d16 doesnt perform like a b16. you cant just trace it all back to the number of cams. its like saying that a coupe is faster than a sedan. ya, sometimes it is, but it really doesnt matter how many doors it has.
A fully built sohc will never match a dohc in anything
