for the amount of money you want to spend, a turbo would be very doable if you bought it in parts. it'd prolly be cheaper too. you'd get more power just getting the base greddy turbo kit than doing all that stuff combined. as long as your engine is running well, the 5lbs of boost that the kit comes with would work fine. i suggest you look into it. i got it on my 97ex coupe, and im only running 5 lbs right now. i completely smoked a '00 si with bolt ons by about 10 car lengths at about 70mph. i also pulled about 1/2 car behind a supercharged gs-r. look at the turbo. everything would be about 2500 new, or much less off ebay. get the kit, a vortech fmu, and a map defensor. you might need to get a custom downpipe, but im almost positive it just bolts up.
