My grandfather passed away possibly later friday or earlier saturday morning. It's hitting me hard, because he was the only grandparent that cared to talk to me, and I liked to talk to him. He would never initiate conversation, I think he was depressed from when my grandmother passed away in '90. He would drive by just to see how things there, slowly. He served in the navy in WWII and was a firefighter thereafter. He cared about me more than any other grandchild, his neighbor said, because he had high hopes for me. He never got to see me graduate. :sad:
